I signed my DSLD Homes new construction contract, what's next? Now, onto one of our favorite parts of the DSLD Path to Ownership, personalizing your home. About two weeks after signing your contract, a Builder Sales Representative will contact you to schedule, what we call, your color appointment. During this scheduled time, you will sit down with your Builder Sales Representative and select your home's paint color, flooring, countertops, lighting, upgrades, and more. It is important to keep in mind that the options are area, community, and even sometimes plan specific. So, make sure to check with your Builder Sales Representative to figure out the specific options for your home.
Each community will have around 3-5 options to choose from for each of your exterior selections. Riding through the community may help to get an idea of possible color combination options. Once you find the options you like, write down the address so your Builder Sales Representative can reference the colors for you.
Exterior selections may include: Brick, Stucco, Siding, Shutters, Garage Door, and Front Door Color
Our model homes are open 7 days a week! We welcome you to stop by and check out the color room, which is filled with samples of the available options. Once you have narrowed down a few of your favorites, the Builder Sales Representative may be able to direct you to homes that have some of your selected favorites. Make sure to note which options you like best to make your appointment run smoother and not seem so overwhelming.
Interior selections may include: Paint, Flooring, Appliances, Cabinets, and Countertops
